My Approach
As a therapist, it is important that you have a space that you can express yourself freely and feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and saying difficult things aloud. I work to encourage you to explore certain feelings and thoughts and the origin of them. Afterwards, we challenge those thoughts and feelings to discover new thought patterns and reframe your original way of thinking. I am fully transparent, which means I share personal details of my life to establish rapport, encourage you to see me as human, and build a trusting professional relationship. Additionally, I never give advice that I would not take or have not taken myself. My role is to support and guide your mental health journey.
